Outdoor Movie on the Wall

The Museum of Colorado Prisons presents Outdoor Movie on the Wall, featuring the following films:

  • Canon City (a film about a prison break that occurred at the Colorado State Penitentiary on December 30,1947
  • Camp Amache: The Story of an American Tragedy (a 2006 documentary film by Don Dexter about the American concentration camp located in southwest Colorado, where more than 7,000 Japanese Americans were held during World War II).

Park at Veterans Park and take the free trolley to the museum! Don’t forget your lawn chairs and/or blankets! Doors will open at 7:30. Food will be available to buy (Fire It Up Pizza, popcorn, beer, wine, soda, and water).

Admission: $10 per person or $15 per couple.
