Goes Bump in the Night

WHAT: Explore Fremont Center for the Arts’ October art exhibit “Goes Bump in the Night” in the lower gallery.
WHERE: Fremont Center for the Arts, 505 Macon Plaza in Cañon City
WHEN: October 1-30. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-4pm

Diana’s Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze

WHAT: Come get your special pumpkin and get lost in the corn maze! Don’t forget to stop by for some roasted sweet corn or some amazing fall treats!
WHERE: 1649 Poplar Avenue in Cañon City
WHEN: Saturdays 10am-9pm and Sundays 10am-6pm throughout the Fall season. Weekdays by appointment for school groups and organizations.

Dark Side of the Abbey/Disturbance at the Monastery

WHAT: Dark Side of the Abbey is Southern Colorado’s most naturally nightmareish haunt. Both scary and entertaining, with two separate haunting experiences, your entire group will be talking about how great of a time they had for months.
WHERE: Holy Cross Abbey, 2951 E Hwy 50 in Cañon City
WHEN: Every Friday and Saturday in October plus Sunday, October 31, 7-11pm each night

Aftermath Haunted House

WHAT: Come out to one of the top haunted houses in Colorado! All new, and scarier than ever! As always proceeds from Aftermath benefit programs with the Cañon City Area Parks and Recreation!
WHERE: 575 Ash Street (at the dog park) in Cañon City
WHEN: October 9, 16, 23, and 30 starting at 7:00pm each night
COST: $20 per person

Haunted Warehouse

WHAT: Come wander through a terrifying experience at the Haunted Warehouse! You will see over 15 scenes with varying levels of fear!
WHERE: 109 W. Front Street in Florence
WHEN: October 15, 16, 29, 30, and 31, from 6-9pm
COST: Free of charge but voluntary donations to St. Jude’s Hospital will be accepted.

Dog Halloween Costume Contest

WHAT: The Neon Bottle at Kate’s wants to see your cuties in costume! Post your photo(s) on this original post on the Neon Bottle at Kate’s Facebook page. Winners will be determined by the number of LIKES & HEARTS for each photo. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st & 2nd place winners and will include pet swag, a free pitcher of your choice, and cover to our Halloween Thru a Neon Glass Event!! Contest ends Tuesday October 19 at 9pm.

Keller Williams Performance Realty Fall Fest 2021

Boo at the Bridge

WHAT: Lift your spirits at our 7th Annual Spooktacular Halloween event. All will have a Fa-BOO-lous time to include goodies, entertainment and games. Costumes are highly encouraged! Mummies & Daddies will have a fang-tastic time bringing their little ghosts & goblins Trick-or-Treating at America’s Bridge. All will have a ‘Spooktacular’ experience gathering goodies because you don’t often get the chance to cross the highest suspension bridge in America after hours!Local businesses and non-profits will witch you a Happy Halloween while filling your bags and buckets with tasty treats. Stop in for a Spell and don’t forget to shout “Trick-or-Treat!” It will be a Treat to have you here!

Halloween Double Header at the Brewery, Part I/Food Truck Rally

WHAT: Family Friendly Block Party/Food Truck Rally. Costume Contest is at 4pm-ish and we can’t wait to see what everybody’s going to wear this year! Live music from Copacetic Chaos from 1pm til 4pm. Food trucks will be on site – Bite Me Gourmet Sausages, Crash Site, P-Dub’s Rolling Smokehouse & SoCo Chicken!

Starpoint Children’s Services’ Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat

WHAT: Ready for the FESTIVAL? Changes for this year include an outdoor TRUNK or TREAT event. Same great treats, friends, and fun costumes. (No scary costumes, please). The event is FREE to all families and children.

WHAT: The Canon City Public Library has partnered with the Fremont Center for the Arts and Colon Orchards again this year for “Pumpkins in the Plaza.” Join us for story time, apple cider, snacks, and pumpkin painting/decorating. Dress up for the costume contest (kids and pets). FREE pumpkins for registered participants.

Teen Halloween Party

WHAT: The Boys & Girls Club of Fremont County’s 4th Street Teen Club is excited to host a Halloween Teen Night again! The Club will be transformed for a party downstairs and haunted house upstairs. All youth in grades 7-12 are welcome. Entry is $2. Pizza will be on sale for $1/slice. Other snacks will be provided. Costumes and masks are highly encouraged!

Spooktacular – Cañon City 

WHAT: Main Street in Cañon City will be closed between 5th Street and 8th Street for the annual Spooktacular event! There will be a costume contest in Macon Plaza between 11:30 and noon and trick or treating in Macon Plaza and downtown from noon-3pm.

Boos & Birds

WHAT: Enjoy food, drinks, and meet some “Halloweenish” critters such as an owl, vulture, crow, snakes, spiders, and toads! Trunk or Treat – Howard 

WHAT: Come down to the Howard Volunteer Fire Department for this fun Halloween event for the kids!  There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prices for best costumes, games for the kids, bake sale, water, hot apple cider, hot chocolate and of course free candy at each of the decorated cars and trucks. All proceeds from the bake sale will be donated to the Howard Fire Department.
