The Penrose Community Library will be holding not one but TWO events this weekend, a Book Sale and a Soup-er Chili Fundraiser.
The Friends of the Library will host the Book Sale on Friday, May 14 and Saturday, May 15 from 10am and 2pm at the Penrose Community Library, located at 35 7th Avenue. In addition to books, the Friends will be selling audio books and videos. Come browse a huge selection and take a few home to enjoy during those long, lazy days of summer!
The Penrose Community Library is hosting the Soup-er Chili Fundraiser on Friday, May 14 from 11am to 6pm and Saturday, May 15 from 11am to 2pm. They will be offering pint-sized containers of soup, crackers, and a dessert for $5.00 (for as long as the supply lasts). There will be red chili, green chili, and potato soup for sale. Come on by and pick up your lunch or supper!
