Chili & Pie Competition, Drinks, Birds, Tunes & Yoga Weekend in Florence

Nature’s Educators and Colorado Healing Acres are co-hosting an multifaceted event  on Saturday, November 20th and Sunday November 21st.

Do you think you have the best chili or pie in Fremont County? Bring your creation(s) to be judged and have a chance to win cash prizes. Judging starts at 1:00pm and people’s choice will be picked at 2:00pm. All entries must arrive by 12:30 pm. No entry fee is required.

Not interested in cooking but love to eat? Come help pick the winner in the people’s choice. Samples are $1 each.

Birds & Beers will continue throughout the day, with Nature’s Educators, a 501c3 non-profit educational wildlife program that elevates the care and protection of wildlife by fostering memorable connections that inspire the community to become more environmentally conscious through collaboration, education, and rehabilitation.

Then from 6 to 8pm Tiffany Christopher will take the stage with her live music lineup!  Admission  to this family-friendly event is FREE, but donations are appreciated to care for the raptors from Nature’s Educators.

Then on Sunday, November 21st, at 11am Tiffany Christopeher will be looping groovy jams over a yoga class led by local yoga instructor, Dexi Chase of Yay Yoga. There will be a long meditation offered after.

Come enjoy local craft beer & wine (starting at $3), chili, pie, and dance, then spend a relaxing day with us on the mat.
